Water Softener
Removes calcium and magnesium hardness to prevent scale formation
Specifications
Duplex model
Built with one brine tank and two softener tanks. It has twice the capacity of the simplex model and keeps supplying soft water even while one tank regenerates.
Principle
- Regeneration: (R-SO₃)₂Ca + 2NaCl → 2R-SO₃Na + CaCl₂
- Service: 2R-SO₃Na + Ca²⁺ → (R-SO₃)₂Ca + 2Na⁺
Optional accessories
- Hardness Monitor — continuously monitors total hardness in the treated water and calls for regeneration automatically.
- Automatic Reset Meter — set the expected throughput and the unit calls for regeneration once that volume has been treated, reducing salt consumption and showing the capacity used.
Hardness Monitor trip points
| Size | Max. flow / pressure drop | Standard range | Extended range | CV |
| 1′ | 9m³/Hr/0.35kg/cm³ | 1.2~20m³ | 5.8~99.7m³ | 18 |
| 2′ | 34m³/Hr/0.35kg/cm³ | 4.7~80.4m³ | 23.6~402m³ | 70 |
| 3′ | 68.1m³/Hr/0.32kg/cm³ | 14.2~241m³ | 70~1206m³ | 135 |
