Design & Manufacturing
We look at the conditions first, then build to suit them.
Design
For the same capacity, groundwater and mains water call for different pre-treatment. Where iron and manganese are high, oxidation and filtration have to come first; where hardness is high, softening is needed ahead of the RO membranes to protect them. Design begins with settling that order.
- Review of the feed water analysis — TDS, hardness, iron and manganese, turbidity, residual chlorine, organics
- Confirmation of target water quality and daily throughput
- Selection and sequencing of unit processes — pre-treatment, main treatment, polishing
- Equipment sizing, pipework and control planning
Manufacturing
We build tanks, pipework and control panels ourselves at the plant on the Papyeong-myeon site in Paju, acquired in 2004. Because the work is done in our own shop rather than subcontracted, specification changes and schedule adjustments are comparatively straightforward.
- Pressure vessel and filter tank fabrication with internal pipework
- Control panel build and wiring, including automatic backwash logic
- Works testing before dispatch to confirm sealing, pressure and control behaviour
Why we build to order
Dropping in a standard unit lowers the initial cost, but leaves no room to respond when the feed water changes or the load grows. Allowing for margin and future expansion at the design stage usually lowers the cost across the operating life of the plant.
